Do you remember a few years ago when Southwest was trying to compete with the big airlines and they ran a series of NFL commercials? Each commercial was pretty hilarious and they all ended with the Southwest slogan and a ding “you are now free to move about the country”. Well, I quickly learned that Southwest Airlines offered lower fares than just about anybody else and when you also consider they don’t charge for the first bag checked, Southwest became my favorite airline.
If Southwest Airlines is also your favorite you’ll be happy to know that there is a credit card specifically for people who fly their airline. The Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card offers all cardholders the chance to earn a free round-trip flight, simply for signing up and making one purchase. The reward comes in the form of 20,000 bonus points and a $50 statement credit, and depending on how and where you fly, you may be able to cash in more than just one flight.
Cardholders of the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card can also earn 3,000 bonus points every year they renew their credit card. Southwest offers rewards points on purchases in the following increments:
- 2 points earned for every dollar spent on Southwest Airlines flights
- 2 points earned for every dollar spent on Southwest car rental and hotel partners
- 1 point earned for every dollar spent on all other purchases
The Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card carries an annual fee of $69, which is not waived during the first year. The flight all cardholders receive is worth at least four times that amount but if annual fees aren’t your thing and you don’t fly Southwest often, there are better card options for you.
This is a limited time offer provided by Chase and the bonus points will not be credited to your account for a good six to eight weeks after making your first purchase, so if you’re looking for that free flight ASAP, consider signing up for the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card.

We can talk about it all day, but it’s hard to do with the many things you face as a small business owner wearing too many hats. You can create a grand plan and fancy to-do list, but if you don’t focus on the important stuff and do it–well, then, it’s just a list. Teamly is a new type of task management tool–one that forces you to stay focused on priorities.
Teamly is an individual productivity tool, but it also serves as team performance management software. It has sh

Capita bosses were doing the Lambeth walk yesterday as they picked up a £60m, 10-year contract with the London borough to deliver a range of services. The scope of the deal could be widened to make it worth up to £300m over time.
The work was won after a competitive tender, but it extends an existing relationship and will see the outsourcing group running the council’s call centres and collecting revenue, among other things.
We’ve been sceptical about the predictions of an outsourcing boom as Government – both central and local – urgently seeks savings as funding is slashed. When
